The “2019 International Translational Research in Ophthalmology (ITRO) Symposium", from November 8-10 (Friday-Sunday), is designed to promote productive interactions and collaborations in ophthalmology and related fields among ophthalmologists, clinicians, researchers in biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, as well as pharmaceutical regulatory professionals, and to effectively facilitate the efficient development and successful application of ophthalmic drug candidates. The theme of 2019 ITRO symposium is “Exploring new pathways for ophthalmology research-- by boosting the discovery and translation research of new ophthalmic drugs, highlighting the new therapeutic targets, new drugs, new technologies, regulations and drug review”.
